Reloder 16
All Alliant Smokeless Powder containers are backed by a century of expertise in production and the most stringent quality assurance processes in the business. To make sure that everything is the same, a ballistics lab tests and checks the chemical makeup, grain shape and size, and density on a regular basis.

made by Bofors, a Swedish company. Reloder 16 invariably generates extremely high temperatures. Intricate TZ technology controls the material’s reaction, counteracting its normal inclination to generate more pressure at higher temperatures and less pressure at lower temperatures.
If you’re a long-range target shooter who places a premium on temperature stability and you’re used to using a Reloder 23, then you’ll love the Reloder 16. Reloder 16 has a burn rate that is slightly higher than Reloder 17, but still well within the 4350 temperature range. This makes it perfect for use with time-honored cartridges like the Spring 30-06 and Spring 270, as well as with 6.5mm target loads and tactics that require a consistent temperature.

To achieve consistent long-range accuracy, the propellant must be able to act continuously at very high temperatures. Using the same TZ® technology as its predecessors, Alliant Powder® Reloder 16 achieves global stability, just like Reloder 23 and AR CompTM.
By doing so, one can alter the material’s reactivity and counteract its tendency to increase pressure with rising temperature. Reloder 16 has a burn rate that’s just a hair higher than Reloder 17, but it’s still well within the 4350 temperature range. This makes the 6.5mm perfect for target loads and strategies that require temperature stability, as well as for more traditional cartridges like the Spring 30-06 and Spring 270.
Even at high temperatures, the TZ® technology maintains a constant pressure. Alliant Reloading Powder Alliant Reloder 16 Rifle is effective at maintaining clean and accurate barrels thanks to its proprietary de-coating additive. The Reloder 16 has a burn rate of around 4350, which is just a hair faster than that of the Reloder 17. Thus, it is ideal for use in standard cartridges like the 30/06 and 270 Win as well as with 6.5 mm target loads and tactical applications that necessitate temperature stability.
For consistent, long-range accuracy, a propellant that is active over a wide temperature range is essential. Using the same TZ® technology as its predecessors, Alliant Powder® Reloder 16 achieves global stability, just like Reloder 23 and AR CompTM. Both the material’s reaction and its inherent resistance can be influenced.
Rifle accuracy can be improved with the help of reloading powders that our forum members have made available to each other. Among handloaders, it is common knowledge that certain powders, including Varget, H4350, H4895, and H4831SC, are difficult to come by.
And it seems like Varget has been extremely hard to come by in the last few months. As of last Friday, August 28, 2020, you can get your hands on a variety of these otherwise elusive powders right here.
