N165 rifle powder is the best choice if you need pinpoint accuracy from a long distance.

N165 Powder

The universal powder Vihtavuori N165 can be used to power a heavy bullet in a Magnum rifle. The 338 Lapua Magnum with 250-grain bullets is the best in terms of performance, but it can also be used with a wide range of calibers, from the 6.555 SE to the 416 Rigby.

N165 Powder

The N165 powder is the same size as the N160 powder—1.3 mm long and 1.0 mm wide—but it burns differently because it has a different coating on its surface.

N165 is better for cartridges that are the same caliber but have heavier bullets because it burns more slowly. Because it goes a little faster, N165 is great for shooting at long distances and hunting big game.
