Hodgdon h380
At the time the late Bruce Hodgdon first used it, H380TM was just a generic spherical rifle propellant. When a 22-caliber wildcat (now known as the 22-250) shot with a charge of 38.0 grains behind a 52-grain bullet and produced a one-hole group, the powder was appropriately named H380. The H380 also performs admirably with fine-varmint cartridges such as the 220 Swift, 243, and 257 Roberts. The grains take the shape of a hollow ball.
Before the late Bruce Hodgdon put his name to it, this was just some round rifle propellant. His 22-caliber wildcat, now known as the 22-250, produced one-hole groups with a 38.0-grain charge behind a 52-grain bullet, inspiring him to name the powder H380. H380 excels in varmint cartridges such as the 220 Swift, 243, and 257 Roberts.
